Mystique Hotel

The next stop on our Greece trip was to Oia staying at the Mystique Hotel. Oia is about a 20- 30 minutes drive from Fira along a few winding roads but it is very scenic. I cannot recommend The Mystique enough, it was the most beautiful and luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. The views of the infinity pool with the sea in the background was just breathtaking. Service was impeccable, down to the smallest details. They are always giving you treats, every day they would leave a basket of cookies and goodies in our room, and a plate of fresh fruit. We had a beautiful room inside of a cave with private terrace and jacuzzi tub.

Our favorite thing to do was to sit and relax at the pool of course. The water still freezing but felt great when the sun got really hot. Every morning we sat down to a delicious all inclusive breakfast where you can order anything off the menu. At night we enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting in their wine cave featuring 7 Greek wines with a cheese plate. Our wine director was delightful. She gave us VERY heavy wine pours and said, “Here in Greece we don’t spit so drink up!”. It was so much, we couldn’t finish it all!. After that we stumbled over to the town of Oia for the famous sunset.
