Trixie Motel

For my birthday my husband and I spent 2 days in beautiful Palm Springs. I am a big fan of Ru Paul’s Drag Race so of course I had to stop in and check out the Trixie Motel, owned by drag queen Trixie Mattel. We did not stay here so I cannot say anything about the rooms, but the experience was so fun. It is such a pink paradise. We were welcomed by their very friendly staff who showed us to the bar area. We ordered some drinks and also ate pink popcorn. The entire hotel is as kitschy as can be. Hanging on the walls are photos of Trixie photoshopped into famous photos. We took our drinks to the pool area, which was lined with pink and white umbrellas and magenta flamingos. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are a fan or just love pink!
